Dreamtek, Apple Solution Experts for Audio are holding a free event for music producers, artists and anyone involved in music, on Tuesday 28th November at the Strongroom bar in London EC2A, part of the Strongroom Studios. The event starts at 3pm and finishes at 7pm.
Headline guest producers Future Cut and Mike Pelanconi, who produced the number one Lily Allen 'Smile' track, who will be showing visitors just how they put the track together, using the NEW Powerful Mac Pro and Logic Pro software. See how the project evolved, from original sample material to how it was reworked and audio editing methods that were used. Future Cut explains the vocal tracks and special methods used to create the song, how they used Logics internal software instruments, mixing methods and automation.
Sonic Distribution, exclusive representatives for Apogee and Waves in the UK and Ireland will be showing the brand new 'V Series' plug-ins and Mercury bundle from Waves, and the Apogee Ensemble and Symphony systems. Customers will also be able to talk directly to representatives from Waves and Apogee about individual installations, applications and the full range of products.
Come and learn about Focusrite and their Liquid mix and Liquid Channel products. Each of Liquid Mix's 32 channels provides EQ and Compressor emulations selected from a huge pool of high-quality vintage and modern day classics. 20 EQs and 40 Compressors are available straight out of the box. Each channel appears as a separate VST/AU/ RTAS effect within the sequencer and will work within all major applications, including Pro Tools.
Guests are invited to come along and see the demonstrations, have a drink and mingle with experts in the industry, such as Apple, Focusrite and Sonic Distribution who they can ask questions about the hardware and software available to produce music.
