On May 21st, we anounced a major back-end update of our site MacMusic.org. Among other things, we updated our forum software adding great new features to it. It was also a new site design, a new logo… (certainly not the one we dreamed about but we will work on that later on). But the most important changes were hidden underneath the code, allowing hot new site features.
Behind all of this, our idea was to offer wider content to our growing community WITHOUT changing the efficiency and the pertinence of the forums found at MacMusic. To do that, we have simply moved our Forums to a new domain : www.440forums.com that now has its own homepage, listing the new threads category by category. The new members will surely appreciate while the MacMusicians will find very little changes when browsing the forums from MacMusic.
With the new reordering of the Forums, we have preserved the specificities of MacMusic forums in an elegant way, while opening offering new subjects using the same professional spirit, support and knowledge base. Visitors can from now on have great conversations about guitar, synths, keyboards, studio gear, building a vocal booth, or chat about their personal music and much more...
the new portal to our Forums, will surely allow us to welcome new users that don't necessarily use a Mac but are certainly worth reading and that with the same care and quality found on MacMusic.
The new set up starts from now on, and a lot of threads will be move to the new forums in the next days. One last point: your login/password remains the same on both sites.
Enjoy www.440forums.com
