Audio Hardware : Adam new monitor and subs - macmusicADAM announced a new monitor, the A7, along with two subwoofers the Sub8 and Sub10 mkII. The A7 is a small, low price tag (yet unknown) monitor. It features the acclaimed A.R.T. tweeter and a 6.5" Rohacell/Kevlar cone fed by dedicated 50w rms amps. It is housed in a 18 x 33 x 28 cm unshielded box weighting 8 kg (so beware with CRT computer screens). The frequency response is quoted 46 Hz-35 KHz, which can be trimmed by high and low shelving filters in the back as the tweeter level. Front is housing power and general level controls. Connection is in XLR and unbalanced 1/4" jacks.

Sub8 and Sub10 mkII are, as it's hinted, 8 and 10" subwoofers. The Sub8 (160 W, 28 Hz-150 Hz, 26x41x38 cm, 12 kg) is more adapted to the ANF10, P11A, S1A and S2A (a silver version will be available to get along the Artist); the Sub10 (200 W 25 Hz - var. 50 - 150 Hz, 30 x 55 x 40 cm, 21 kg) is more for the P series and the S1A to S3A. The cones are in coated paper, inputs in XLR and unbalanced RCA. The Sub8 feature motorized controls (via remote control) for level and crossover frequency (50-150 Hz). The Sub10 can be chained and features level and crossover frequency adjustments on the back.

Price and availability TBA
