Faderfox hunts controls again!

We already talked about the tiny weeny sweety MIDI control surfaces from Faderfox in 2004, Mr Fuchs just did it again. Here are the LV2, DJ2, DX2, and LX2 dedicated control surfaces. As the name can sugest, they are build to work with known live apps: Ableton Live (LV2, LX2) and NI Traktor DJ Studio (DJ2, DX2). Depending on the model you have buttons, faders, push-encoders, joystick aplenty and all in a 180x105x70 mm format for a weight of 450g. All module run either from an AC adapter (one per two surfaces), or on batteries so no adapter needed for live use! (They last about 100 hours).
The features added in comparison to the old range:
- LV2 has 2 programmable button rows with 12 LED's, 4 push-encoders, main function, reviewed ergonomics
- LX2 has 36 LED's to show the button statuses, 4 independent keygroups with 3 keysets, freely assignable in different keymodes, mini-keyboard, 12 setup memories
- DJ2 has full two-deck-control, sensitive pitching by encoders, FX control by joystick, reviewed ergonomics
- DX2, well, there was no DX1!
Pots, faders, joystick are all ALPS, and front plates are in anodised aluminium for durability. The new range is fully compatible with the old one. Older products have been discontinued but some LX1 are remaining if you want them… Price, well… still not known but they will be available between February and March so watch out!
