Native Instruments has released a new set of presets for Absynth, the company's software synthesizer for Macintosh and Windows. The new collection, Absynth Sounds Vol. 1, includes 256 new presets.

According to Native, all of the new sounds in the collection were designed to take advantage of multiple synthesis techniques. Velocity, modulation and MIDI controllers are built into each one. Absynth Sounds Vol. 1 includes 256 presets, plus 16 more available for download upon registration. Bank 1 includes pads, loops, sequences and effects. Bank 2 includes synths, acoustic instruments, basses, drums and other percussion.

The preset collection sells for $49.90. Demos are available on Native Instruments' Web site.
