Elemental Audio Systems announced today the availability of AudioUnit versions of its complete line of plug-ins. This release makes Firium, Eqium, and Inspector three of the first commercially available plug-ins to support the new Mac OS X system level audio plug-in format. The AudioUnit versions can be used in Emagic Logic, the first OS X compatible sequencer to support AudioUnits, and other audio applications that support the new standard.
Firium is a linear phase equalizer with built-in spectrum analyzer that allows users to draw their entire EQ curve. Eqium is an unlimited-bands, fully sweepable, surgical EQ offering 11 filter types. Inspector is a spectrum analyzer that alerts users when certain undesirable events occur in their audio.
Firium, Eqium, and Inspector are available in three plug-in formats: VST for Mac OS 9, VST for Mac OS X, and AudioUnit for Mac OS X. All three plug-in versions are included with purchase. Firium and Eqium are available separately for $99 each or bundled together for $129. Inspector is a free download for a limited time. The products can be purchased through the Elemental Audio Systems website at www.elementalaudio.com.
