MacMusic U.S. Summer Tour
Tuesday May 18, 2004. 05:55 PM | 440network > MacMusic |
Sweet summer: warm weather, lazy days filled with electronic music, beach parties and dancing, and the chance to hunt down MacMusic's English editor in person to find out why he hasn't updated the news. Yes, that's right, summer is the chance for the MacMusic community here in the U.S. to meet up face-to-face. Coming up: Appearances at Macworld Boston, MacMusic New York, an East Coast Tour and a call for ideas for a MacMusic World Tour. Check it out:
Macworld Conference & Expo If you're in Boston in July, stop by Macworld for my workshop on Mac music-making, the "Mac music cookbook." We'll have our usual live coverage of the show.
MacMusic New York: The greater New York area is home to many of MacMusic's readers in the United States, as well as yours truly and Mew & Zach artist William Levin. Our Parisian colleagues have had in-person meetups but nothing has happened in the US. .Email me if you're interested and send some ideas on venue, what to do, and we'll plan something! And Emagic, Digidesign, Native Instruments, contact me if you want to supply the open bar. :-)
East Coast Tour: I have a couple of gigs for the fall talking to students, but if you're on the East Coast and want to book me for a workshop / seminar / whatever, .drop me a line.
MacMusic World Tour: Don't live in New York? Want to plan something abroad? I'll keep our readership posted of other events!
