The present and future situation of Creamware Datentechnik, which builds Luna, Pulsar, Scope, and Noah (DSP audio/treatment cards), was in the balance since last June. But today news appeared on their website that should please the impressive 30,000 registered users concerned by the future of their products.
"Today we are proud and happy to announce good news for our users and anyone else interested in the stuff we do" reports CreamWare founder and managing director Frank Hund. "On February 1st, a new company, CreamWare Audio GmbH, will be able to continue development of existing CreamWare products, technology and customer relations. We can now finally close our insolvency chapter."
A new start
Good news, then. There's a price, though: Creamware Audio has contracted to buy parts from Dirk Obermüller, CEO of CreamWare Datentechnik." This trade signifies that Creamware Audio starts up its operations on a lower level. "In fact, this transaction means that we can continue to build and grow our business, even if we are initially starting on a slightly smaller scale/I> explains managing director Wolf Roth. Before adding: "And last but not least, we're looking forward to Aworking with many of the same people we have enjoyed working with in the past."
In short, all this works out to "we can look forward now".
"Creamware reloaded"
Naturally, the new Creamware Audio will continue to offer warranty, support and repairs to the customers of Creamware Datentechnik (the old). Back in force in the business, the new company will show its actual product line AND something new and mysterious at the next Frankfurt Musikmesse, which will be held from the 03/31 to 04/03/04.
