Alesis ION Shrinks to Micron
 After the ION, Alesis decides to reduce the recipy of its VA synth to a smaller package. The Micron is a 37 keys VA synth, using the same engine as the ION, and it features 8 voices and 4 multitimbral parts. Each voice is 3 oscillator, 2 multimode filters, 3 envelopes, 2 LFO, Sample and Hold, and a tracking generator.
The Micron features also a step sequencer, an arpeggiator, a rhythm sequencer, a "dynamic realtime phrase sequencer" (what's this beast? More details Mr Alesis) a stereo bus effect (including a 40 band vocoder). There is an audio input so bring in your external signals. Additional control can be provided thru 3 assignable encoders and 2 assignable sliders. Last, the Micron is compatible with ION programs.
