Wave Arts announces an upgrade release to MasterVerb, its reverb plug-in.
On the heels of their cross-platform release of TrackPlug, Wave Arts is following with an upgrade to MasterVerb, serving up several significant improvements to its reverb plug-in, the most anticipated of which is a Mac VST release.
On screen, users will enjoy an improved look-and-feel, including anti-aliased graphics, editable text boxes, and a smaller footprint. Inside, MasterVerb now offers full VST automation of any parameter. Upon suggestions from its users, Wave Arts gave MasterVerb a diffusion control, for better command over early reflections.
Sound on Sound columnist Martin Walker created an additional 16 factory presets for MasterVerb, bringing its total to 32. Furthermore, MasterVerb now features output meters with auto-output-gain adjustments to prevent clipping.
MasterVerb 3.02 is available now in Mac VST format at a retail price of $149.95. Purchases and fully functional time-limited demos are available directly through the Wave Arts Web site.
