Computer Hardware : Native Instruments releases TRAKTOR KONTROL Z1 - macmusicNative Instruments today released TRAKTOR KONTROL Z1, the world’s smallest professional mixer and audio interface for both TRAKTOR DJ for iPhone and iPad, and TRAKTOR PRO 2. When combined with the critically-acclaimed TRAKTOR DJ app, the sleek Z1 adds headphone cue and dedicated faders, filter and effects controls, and 3-band EQ for each channel. The integrated audio interface boosts audio output to club-ready levels – an important feature for iOS setups – all without interfering with TRAKTOR DJ’s acclaimed touch interface. TRAKTOR KONTROL Z1 also offers established TRAKTOR PRO 2 DJs a highly mobile mixing interface for situations where compact size and professional performance features are essential.

Building on the overwhelming success of the TRAKTOR DJ app, TRAKTOR KONTROL Z1 now offers TRAKTOR DJ users additional physical control that complements the touchscreen. TRAKTOR KONTROL Z1 also provides a full-fledged 2-channel mixing interface, software controller, and an integrated 24-bit soundcard. All faders, filter and effects controls, and 3-band EQ are automatically mapped and synced to TRAKTOR DJ, giving DJs hands-on, physical control over their iPad or iPhone setups. The Z1’s cue section introduces channel headphone monitoring to iOS setups, allowing for track pre-listening. The 24-bit integrated soundcard delivers quality club-level sound without the need for an additional audio interface. When in use, TRAKTOR KONTROL Z1 even keeps the iOS device charged, assuring DJs hours of stability and performance.
