Celebrating their 65th year, the AES Convention (October 17th-20th 2013) will once again host the world's largest gathering of audio professionals, attracting attendees from around the globe.

This year's convention will be bigger and better than ever, as the top names in professional audio engineering converge for the latest audio innovations through workshops, tutorials, technical papers, booth exhibits and product showcases.
Technical Program:
This year's technical program is full of fascinating events where you're sure to learn useful information from the experts leading these sessions. AudioThing has released Toy Marimba for NI Kontakt.

Toy Marimba features a small tuned percussion instrument made of rosewood and rope. It was sampled with wood and bamboo mallets, with 3 Round Robin repetitions and 3 velocity layers for the main hits. Slides and glissandos (up/down with 3 speeds) are also included along with slowed down samples crafted for wooden and airy textures.

ProdMod is a new Ableton instrument library with sounds derived from a customized Moog Prodigy. The Prodigy that was sampled has got a breakout connection with a handmade patchbay attached to it. This allows to interrupt and split the synth's internal wirings and therefore offers much more sonic possibilities that go far beyond the off-the-shelf version.
ProdMod Live Pack contains 30 multi-sample instruments in Abletons Live's Rack format that transfer the sound of this vintage mono synth into today's music production environments.
