If we consider that Apple gives up gradually the professional market, shall we content ourselves with an iMac or with a Macbook Pro for the music?

Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH today announced the release of the first free update for Cubasis, Steinberg's sequencer app for iOS.

Audiobus allows multiple iOS apps to integrate seamlessly with Cubasis for audio input and processing in a single project.
Cubasis is compatible with iPad 2 (48 voices), iPad 3 (64 voices), iPad 4 (64 voices) and iPad mini (48 voices) running iOS 6. Cubase versions compatible with Cubasis are Cubase 7, Cubase 6.5, Cubase Artist 7, Cubase Artist 6.5, Cubase Elements 6, Cubase LE 6 and Cubase AI 6. Installing the Cubase project import extension is a requirement.

Synth Legends Volume 1, the initial release in the series, features the sounds of seven of Roland's most revered past synthesizers, including the original JUPITER-8, the JUNO-106, D-50, and others. Future volumes will include many other sought-after analog classics.

Each collection consists of single Tones that capture the iconic preset sounds from legacy instruments, plus enhanced Live Sets that sweeten the Tones with modern processing. Additional Live Sets combine the legacy Tones together in a number of expressive ways, using layers, powerful FX, and more. Also included with the collections are many new Arpeggio patterns.

Avanna is Zero-G's first release for the new Vocaloid 3 engine and the first English female singing voice for the new software.
