LinPlug hereby announces the release of the CrX4 Sample Synthesizer AU and VST plugin for Mac OS X and Windows PC.

CrX4 is the successor to the CronoX 3 and uses any kind of samples as raw material for synthesis. CrX4 includes a range of virtual analogue features such as a variety of oscillators, unison detuning, amplitude and frequency modulation, the unique free-type-filter, an arpeggiator, and a modulation matrix, wicked LFO's and a comprehensive effects section.

The Vienna Symphonic Library team has made free software product updates available for registered users. Vienna Instruments, Vienna Instruments PRO, Vienna Ensemble PRO, Vienna Suite and Vienna MIR PRO / MIR PRO 24 are now fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.

available for download. VariSaturator is an audio effect plug-in
designed to apply saturation and overdrive effects to audio
material. VariSaturator is available in AudioUnit and VST plug-in
formats (including native 64-bit support), for Mac OS X (v10.5 and
later), and Windows computers.

Note that on Mac, VariSaturator now supports Mac OS X v10.5 and
higher only, running on Intel processors. Mac PowerPC support is not
available.
