Part sampler, part synth, SKANNER XT utilizes a unique synthesizer architecture to create a wide variety of intense and cutting-edge sounds for contemporary electronic music production and sound design. Two oscillators 'scan' a sample, which at low frequencies deliver a scratch sound. At higher frequencies the oscillators, shaped by the sample waveform, become the dominant force. In this way, SKANNER XT provides a broad range of highly distinctive sounds - from heavy and dirty bass tones to morphing soundscapes and organic pads.

The bx_saturator is an M/S & multi-band saturation tool which can be used for mastering, mixing and sound-design.

It offers a warm and subtle distortion which works wonders on individual signals and can even be applied to the stereo master channe in the M/S stereo model. Brainworx' NEW "True-Split" crossover technology ensures that Mid and Side channels are perfectly in phase.

Renowned synthesist and sound designer Ian Boddy has been producing sample libraries since 1992. This includes award-winning collections for leading sample producers Zero-G and Sample Magic plus patch and sample content for Camel Audio, LinPlug and Rob Papen.

With such a wealth of musical and sound design experience, Boddy decided to release his sample productions independently under the 'Waveforms' brand, which has already released four titles - Airwaves, Beatalogue, Drumalogue and Radiophonica.
