Mar 11 - 10:42 PM | Event > MusikMesse Frankfurt |
Musikmesse in Frankfurt (Germany) is the world's most international fair for musical instruments, sheet music, music production and marketing, and has been the foremost meeting place for the musical-instrument industry for over 25 years.
Here, you will find a complete range of products with everything required for making music, not to mention innumerable workshops, concerts, demonstrations and discussion events.
Each year, around end of march, MusikMesse represents the biggest music fair in Europe. During the most important economical crisis since 1929, and after the terrifying tsunami in Japan last year, we have seen at NAMM that industry doesn't really make money anymore and stopped development... So new products are launched, but is it really new products or not?
Once and for all, Goodbye!

Mar 9 - 05:38 PM | Misc > Solid State Logic |
Academy and Grammy Award winning composer, musician and producer Trent Reznor, founder of the group Nine Inch Nails (NIN), has upgraded his private studio with a Solid State Logic Duality SE console.
Reznor chose the Duality on advice from producer/engineer Alan Moulder while they were mixing the soundtrack for the film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. They used the Duality to complete mixing the tracks that Trent composed with Atticus Ross, as well as the soundtrack's two cover songs – Led Zeppelin's 'Immigrant Song,' featuring Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Bryan Ferry's 'Is Your Love Strong Enough?' by Reznor and Ross' side-project How to Destroy Angels.
