Nomad Factory, proudly announces the launch of "MAGNETIC II", a truly realistic "Real to Real" audio tape warming effect plug-in that gives your audio tracks the exclusive vintage tape sound which your ears crave. This effect can inject sterile audio with the warmth and character of classic tube circuitry and analog tape saturation.

From Today through December 31, 2011 the new MAGNETIC II plug-in will be sold at introductory price of $79 (MSRP $149). An upgrade path from MAGNETIC I is also available for only $20. Magnetic II is also available as part of Nomad's new "Integral Studio Pack III" actually promoted at only $199 (MSRP $599) .

Steinberg has just released the previously announced and officially supported 6.0.5 maintenance update for Cubase 6, Cubase Artist 6, Cubase Elements 6, Cubase AI 6 and Cubase LE 6.

Including refined automation handles, full support for two WK-Audio remotes and improved decoding performance under Windows, the 6.0.5 update integrates several enhancements and fixes that make the Cubase experience even more exceptional.

In the new release are more than 3.4 GB and 1350 licks and loops consisting of 4 bar and 8 bar. Some guitar solos are even 16 bars long. The dynamic played drums include the mix or the individual tracks like bass drum, snare drum, hihat closed, hihat open and ride. They can be combined with additional tom loops, break parts, drum solos and especially with drum add-ons like cowbell, crash loops, tambourine, percussion fx and snare rolls.

Modular Solo ships complete with a ribbon cable ready to fit into any Eurorack (A100) modular system — simply plug one end into the free slot on the Modular Solo itself and the other into the backplane of the modular case to supply the required power (+12V supply 85mA max/-12V supply 3mA).

Control Voltage (CV) and Gate signals can be sent via the ribbon cable to the system bus (selected using jumpers).

At the recent AES Convention in New York City, Avid presented a new plug-in format for Pro Tools 10: AAX (Avid Audio eXtension). One of the most frequently asked questions for third-party plug-in developers during the show was how soon they would be able to support this new format.
TC is proud to announce that its LM6 Radar Loudness Meter, which was also revealed at AES, will in fact support the new AAX format right from the start.

LM6 Radar Loudness Meter will be available in VST, AU, RTAS and AAX Native versions December 2011.
