The raw material in Goldbaby Synthetic is coaxed from vintage and modern analogue synths, old FM instruments and vintage 12-bit sample-based keyboards.

It is additionally squeezed through esoteric pedals and high-end multi-FX and outboard, with everything recorded through premium AD conversion. The sounds range from creamy to raw and gritty, but always with a tasteful attitude that delivers new dimensions to your music, whatever the style.

The VCC RC-Tube plugin is an authentic emulation of a classic 1950's all tube broadcast console. The RC Tube Channel is intended to be placed on the inserts of your mix channels, and the RC Tube Mixbuss is intended as the first insert on your master fader. Together, this plugin package will recreate the sound of a vintage tube mixer, giving your mix a rich, fat, warm, and deep sound that until now, was unattainable with a 100% digital mixer.
Authentic Modeling

Slate Digital CTO Fabrice Gabriel employed new state of the art analog modeling techniques to capture the sound of this classic tube mixer in the digital domain. Using the same techniques required to model the four analog consoles in the Virtual Console Collection plugin, Fabrice managed to emulate the exact sonic characteristics in a nonlinear and dynamic way, including such precise details as tube saturation response and crosstalk.

PreSonus is now shipping Universal Control 1.5.2, a free, major update to its driver and control software, which also includes important firmware updates for its StudioLive 16.4.2 and 16.0.2 digital mixers. We thank all who participated in the public beta testing for version 1.5.2; the beta version is replaced by this release.

With this update, current StudioLive 16.4.2 mixer owners can now take advantage of six 31-band graphic EQs that are dedicated to the aux buses, variable (2 to 500 ms) output delays on each subgroup, and Aux Flip mode, which lets you include the Tape input, Main FireWire return, Aux A input Aux B input, FXA bus, and FXB bus in Aux mixes 1 through 6.

It offers 5 bands of fully parametric EQ, plus variable Q High Pass and Low Pass filters, and it's own unique harmonic colouration using analogue modelled saturation. Current values are clearly displayed for all parameters, each EQ section may be individually bypassed.

All equalization and saturation algorithms are oversampled, using 64bit internal processing for superior clarity and resolution.
