Virtual Instrument : MOOG EL3CTRO Presets For The Arturia Minimoog V - macmusicMOOG EL3CTRO is the Plughugger take on the Arturia Minimoog, which means we follow our tradition of focusing on electronic bass sounds. But MOOG EL3CTRO is far from an orgy in bass. There are also sequences, arpeggios, leads and pads. The soundset is constructed around 64 presets and one of the primary goal during the design was to create sounds that didn't replicate the classic Moog sound, but to push the sound of the Moog in other directions.

A good example of this is with the sequences that make full use of the unique motion modulator, in which we squeezed and filtered the sounds until they were coated in an inspiring electro-vibe pimped-up fur. The sequences and arpeggios are designed to work as inspirational starters - or the spice you add when you need that little extra.
Size: 64 Presets

Virtual Instrument : Detunized.com Releases Curetronic Modular Volume 2 Live Pack - macmusicThe new Curetronic Modular Volume 2 Live Pack introduces a diversified collection of sounds exclusively patched on two CURETRONIC modular cabinets. While the earlier released Curetronic Modular Volume 1 Live Pack contains a collection of tempo-synced loops, Volume 2 of this series features 50 multi-sampled instruments with each one basing on its unique set of velocity-layered samples. During the recording process 18 of currently over 30 available hardware modules were used.
The 50 Ableton Live instruments included in Curetronic Modular Volume 2 offer precisely adjusted macro controls that allow for comfortable balancing between the processed timbre of the virtuals and the original sound. By combining the characteristics of both sound domains Curetronic Modular Volume 2 forms a comprehensive overview of Curetronics infinite sound creation possibilities.

Pricing and specifications:
DTS023 - Curetronic Modular Volume 2 Live Pack (50 instruments / 450 MB / 1559 samples) is available as instant download for 6.98 Euro.

Plug-ins : Waves Version 8 - macmusicOne of Version 8's most exciting highlights is that several classic plugins will be getting facelifts: L1 Ultramaximizer, S1 Stereo Imager, DeEsser, TrueVerb, Q10 Equalizer, C1 Compressor/Expander and AudioTrack will all feature a fresher, more up-to-date look. Version 8 also adds Waves V-Series plugins to selected Waves bundles, bringing the modeled sounds of the vintage 1066, 1073, 1081 and 2254 hardware units to more users than ever.

V8 also delivers an improved preset management system with in-host integration, multi-level Undo and easier navigation. In addition, presets created by Waves Artists like Dave Pensado, Ross Hogarth, Mike Hedges and Steve Lillywhite come pre-loaded into the plugins, for the ultimate in convenience.

Other developments include faster loading times, mouse-wheel control, improved metering in AudioSuite, Novation Automap SDK implementation and enhanced support for Avid Icon console EQ and dynamics sections. Last but not least, V8 marks the first time users can purchase the vast majority of Waves plugins individually, a la carte.
