Guitar Shed is a software toolbox for guitarists, bassists, and other types of musicians. Includes 2 tuners (chromatic and tonal), chord library, tablature organizer, gig manager, web manager, metronome, jam machine, and song jam. This new 2.8 version features : contextual menus added for many of the most-used sections (Right-click or control-click), better compatibility with some external USB microphones for the chromatic tuner, and other small maintenance improvements and updates.

Apple today added a 1.8 GHz single processor Power Mac(R) G5 desktop priced at just $1,499 to its 64-bit Power Mac G5 line. The new 1.8 GHz Power Mac G5 includes:

The 1.2 GHz PowerPC G4 iBook has a suggested retail price of $999 (US) and includes:

- a crisp 12.1-inch (diagonal) active-matrix TFT display;
- 256MB DDR SDRAM expandable to up to 1.25GB maximum memory;
- a 30GB Ultra ATA hard drive;
- AirPort Extreme 54 Mbps 802.11g wireless networking;
- a slot-load Combo (DVD-ROM/CD-RW) drive.

MidiPipe is updated to v0.9.8 and now features : Added "DLS Synth" tool - user interface for Apple's DLS Synth, fixed key repeat problem in Keybord tool and fixed comment field in SMF Player. MidiPipe is a Midi utility which allows you to modify in real time MIDI messages.
