The new version of the famous groove software is now compatible with Apple's recently released 'Snow Leopard' 64 bit operating system and the emerging 64-bit native host applications for music production on the OS X platform. Since native Windows 64-bit compatibility has been available since version 1.7, Stylus RMX is now fully cross-platform 64-bit native software and is also compatible with 32-bit Mac and Windows systems and hosts. The new 1.9 version also includes various technical fixes and compatibility updates with other recent software releases such as Apple's Logic 9.
Stylus RMX v1.9 is a free download for all registered users of Stylus RMX and is available now from the Spectrasonics website.

Large Bass Expander is a collection of 128 bass sounds where the focus lies on modern dance music, rather than classic analogue reproductions. The download package contains the soundset as an FXB bank as well as all sounds in FXP preset format.

NYCompressor is a lightweight all-round compressor with a ratio of up to 1:10, up to four inputs to support true sidechaining and optional low-, band- or high-pass filters in the signal detection path. Arbitrary amounts of the original signal can be mixed to the output ("New York compression style").
Demo versions are available (restriction: settings are not saved). The NYCompressor is available now as Donationware for Windows and Mac OS X Universal Binary in VST and AU plug-in formats. This means that it is available for any price the user wants to pay, starting from $0.50 to cover PayPal costs.
