Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH today released the 1.1 update to its popular LoopMash app as well as presenting a free version of LoopMash for iPhone and iPod touch users with iOS4 to try out the eminently entertaining approach to mangling beats and tunes. Available through the App Store, LoopMash is available for EUR 2.99, GBP 2.39 and USD 3.99 while LoopMash Free is free of charge.

LoopMash compares and replaces similar musical elements, blending up to four two-bar loops together. The app comes with over 250 audio loops from different music styles plus more than 50 factory presets as well as an unlimited number of user presets. Each preset includes eight scenes; each scene blends up to four loops together.

Stylo is a library dedicated to Kontakt 4 owners. It is built on two layers with samples recorded from my original Stylophone: vibrato on and vibrato off.

Stylophone is a very basic pocket electronic organ but this library gives you the possibility to tweak the Stylophone sound with
one LP filter, LFO, volume envelope, reverb, delay and voice control (switchable between monophonic and polyphonic).
