Sir Sampleton is inspired by sampling Casio and Yamaha toy keyboards of the 80's. These classic keyboards were great toys, but are now expensive because they are sought after by professional musicians for their warm, low-fi sound and simple operation. Now, it's possible to have similar sound and functionality in an app, plus the features that you wish the old keyboards had, like the ability to save samples.

As an early Christmas gift to our customers, we hereby release a virtual copy of a 1926 Pleyel grand piano Model F, available in the latest version of the KIViR add-on collection of historical instruments.

Chopin preferred to compose and perform on Pleyel pianos and it was also used by other major composers, such as Debussy, Ravel and Stravinsky. The Pleyel sound can be described as round, warm and sensual.

ABBEY ROAD MODERN DRUMS complements the previous 60s, 70s and 80s installments, and is based on two renowned drum kits that are a staple of modern studio productions – a Drum Workshop Collector's Series "White Kit" and a Pearl Reference "Sparkle Kit". Further expanded with various distinctive cymbals from Sabian and Zildjian as well as three snare drum options each, both kits were recorded with painstaking precision in Abbey Road's Studio Two and Studio Three, taking full advantage of the acoustic properties of these famous recording rooms.
