Modartt has announced the release of version 3.6 of Pianoteq which includes a new K1 Grand Piano.

The K1 grand piano is the latest piano creation of Modartt virtual piano factory. According to them, this new instrument combines stunning dynamics, sharp attacks and powerful fortissimos with a very nice woody percussive quality. The result is an amazing musical instrument that invites you to improvise straight away. Its many qualities make it suitable to all styles of music and work beautifully in recording. The K1 grand piano is free to all Pianoteq customers by being included in the latest version 3.6. Besides including the K1 Grand Piano, version 3.6 lets you decide where to store your add-ons and fxp file settings. It also changes the way it names plug-in files in order to avoid future upgrade problems.

The Accelerator by Radikal Technologies is a polyphonic Synthesizer with eight subtractive voices. Each voice consists of three oscillators, two multimode filters, 6 envelope generators, three voice LFOs and one section LFO. An additional noise source with independent multimode filtering and variable signal routing has been added for more sonic flexibility.
