JZ Microphones is introducing new and improved microphone in Black Hole series - BH-1s. The new mic is equipped with two large diaphragm capsules with three polarn patterns: omni, cardioid and figure-8. Also the mic has a switch of -10db and -20db options to handle high sound pressure levels without distortion.

Universal Audio has just announced the availability of a new version of UAD Powered Plug-Ins Software.

UAD Software Version 5.4.1 provides functional and sonic improvements to the FATSO Jr./Sr. Powered Plug-In, as well as a new "Clear CPU Affinity" setting for Windows users, which reduces CPU spiking on most multi-processor systems.

This update is recommended to all UAD owners — and especially FATSO Jr./Sr. plug-in users and Windows users on multi-processor systems.

Note that FATSO Jr./Sr. v5.4.1 session and preset settings are not backwards compatible with v5.4.0.
