FabFilter has released the Rob Lee Sound Set for its virtual synth FabFilter Twin 2.

The bank includes 145 dance, house and techno oriented presets by top notch sound designer Rob Lee. For many years, Rob mainly did sound design for hardware synthesizers, but lately he has had great success with sound sets for various software synthesizers. FabFilter Twin 2 is one of Rob Lee's favourite software synthesizers: "It's the best/easiest to navigate and user-friendly synth I've ever had the pleasure of using, anything is possible with this! The filters are the best I've heard on any soft synth full stop."

The Rob Lee Sound Set for FabFilter Twin 2 is now available for €19, $28 or £17. The sound set can be used on both Windows and Mac OS X in any of the available plug-in formats.

Moog Music unveils the MIDI MuRF Pattern Editor, a new software that lets you create custom MIDI-controlled filter sequence patterns for the MF-105M MIDI MuRF.

Available as a free download to MIDI MuRF owners, the Pattern Editor software allows players to create, modify and save their own filter sequence patterns. Its point-and-click user interface makes pattern creation a breeze and the on-screen knobs and sliders let users optimize patterns to real-world settings without taking their hand off the mouse.

The MIDI MuRF Pattern Editor provides easy access to parameters only available through MIDI CC commands and saving and storing patterns on a computer allows for an unlimited number of available variations.

Steinberg announces that its new CI2 Advanced Integration USB Studio interface is now shipping.

The CI2 USB audio interface features two mic preamps with XLR/TRS combo connectors and 48v phantom power as well as a Hi-Z input, allowing connection to just about any audio signal, including large diaphragm microphones, guitars, basses and line inputs.
