After a long journey Flux proudly presents, Syrah - The Creative Adaptive-Dynamics Processor. A new generation dynamics processor, always adapting to the music and to the beat of the material.

Utilizing a range of delicate proprietary processing algorithms, Syrah is described as a "truly musical dynamics processor", and will be well suited as a creative versatile processor for recording and mixing, as well as for delicate and demanding mastering tasks.

The Custom and Vintage SDX is a re-release of the Toontrack Music sample packs Superior Custom and Vintage and Superior Vintage Add-on (both released for the original Superior Drummer software) and they have now been combined to form the The Custom and Vintage SDX for Superior Drummer 2.0.

Apart from extensive stick and brush recordings of a unique collection of drums and cymbals it also features mixer presets by producer Peter Henderson and custom MIDI by drummer Chris Whitten.

The Custom and Vintage SDX will be available as an upgrade with a special price from the legacy products and one regular SDX version for newer customers. Both with the same content.

RetroWare has updated its free Audio Unit plug-in midiO to version 1.3.

midiO is a small Audio Unit that generates MIDI out from GarageBand. In its current form, it is not intended to be a general purpose, full functionality MIDI interface. What it does provide is an internal MIDI out port to which other MIDI enabled programs can connect to. The MIDI data in the software instrument track for which midiO is chosen as a generator will be sent in sync with the playhead to the MIDI out port named "midiO".

Changes in v1.3 :

• Passes AU validation under Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
• Can generate program and bank change messages.
