Native Instruments introduces Absynth Spectral Expansion, the latest release in the comprehensive range of Kore Soundpack libraries. The new collection provides a wealth of sounds based on the semi-modular sound engine of the Absynth synthesizer.

iPerform3D today announced a totally unique feedback tool called 'MyPerform' which allows Beginner students to get fast and helpful feedback on their progress from the professional instructors behind the 3D lessons.

Students record themselves playing, submit an audio or video file via email and within 24 hours find out if they rate as a 'Wannabe', "The Next Big Thing' or 'A Real Guitar Hero'. DDMF has announced the release of StereooeretS, a two-band stereo manipulation plug-in. It features: L/R or M/S input, phase flips on each channel, channel flip, independent gain and pan for left and right channel and, the central part, a two-band widener where the signal is split into high- and low frequency content by a 12dB/octave flat crossover filter. Independent width, gain and pan are provided for the two bands. A stereo image meter is provided to prevent phase issues. Internal calculations are done in 64 bit.

StereooeretS is available in VST for Windows and VST and AU Universal Binary for Mac and as usual with DDMF the price is "whatever-you-feel-appropriate".

Future Audio Workshop has just announced the release of Touch Mix Deadmau5 Edition, an iPhone and iPod Touch App which allows you to remix tracks by electronic music producer Deadmau5. Perform tracks by applying delays, mixes, rewind effects.

You can watch the videos online, or download them for your PC/Mac/iPhone or MP4 Compatible device. There are also a good selection of step by step PDF Tutorials with helpful screenshots which can be downloaded for free too.

The tutorials span a variety of genres and techniques for programmes such as Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, Reason, MPC and others with around 10 new video tutorials added monthly and future videos in the making for Garageband, Cubase, Pro Tools and many others.
