Swar Systems, a Switzerland-based company specialized in Indian music software, has announced that their VSTi/AU plugin SwarPlug featuring 49 Indian instruments now also runs on Mac Intel platforms. With this release, all Swar Systems products now run on both PPC and Intel Macs, as well as PCs.

M-Audio has announced a significant price reduction across the entire line of Oxygen MIDI keyboard controllers.
The Oxygen 61 has been reduced from $279.95 MSRP to $249.95 MSRP. The price of the Oxygen 49 has decreased from $229.95 MSRP to $189.95 MSRP and the Oxygen 8 v2 has been reduced from $179.95 MSRP to $149.95 MSRP.

Image Line has released Toxic III for Mac OS X. Toxic III features a hybrid synthesis engine, combining FM and Subtractive synthesis with the addition of a warm, analog-modeled filter and set of built-in effects. It is available as a VSTi and is a Universal Binary, compatible with both PPC and Intel Macs.
Toxic III currently costs $59. A demo version is available. Note that current Toxic III owners can obtain their free OSX Serial Number from their "My FL Studio" page.
