CodeWeavers has just released an update of their software CrossOver Mac, at this occasion let's discover this software which is not a musical tool but can really ease your life.
CrossOver Mac allows you to run Windows sofware on a MacIntel without using the Windows system. Really nice if you consider the vast choice of audio software available for PC . Better to keep in mind even if for the moment no audio software are listed to be compatible...
CrossOver Mac is available for MacIntel only at retail price of 59,95 $.

Dear Members,
We are excited to announce that Artist/Programmer/Writer/Reviewer Tim Rumbaugh (alias deepplay) from audioMIDI.com will join our proud team of VIP moderators to "liven-up" our Digital Performer forums with useful topics, tips, tricks and other cool goodies.
"I've been reading the 440Forums for quite some time", says Tim, "and what I appreciate over many other audio forums is how the moderators keep the conversations on topic and "noiseless". That enables users to quickly find the information they need. Isn't that what pro forums are all about? I am proud to contribute to MacMusic's DP Forum and hoping I can be helpful to the 440Network Community", adds Tim.

Our friends at SonicState have just started a new video serie called the Top Five Greatest Sampler Ever : A journey into the world of digital sampling and its bygone age. Looking back, few electronic instruments have influenced the direction of music more than digital samplers. Enabling the creation of whole new genres of music through technology and basically theft, the digital sampler is responsible (via the art of sampling) for many musical twists and turns. These videos features interviews with: Adrian Utely (Portishead), Will Gregory (Goldfrapp), Plaid, Nick Batt (DNA), Richard Termini (Cyndi Lauper Band), James Asher and more..
