Roger Nichols Digital (RND) will unveil Detailer at Winter NAMM2007, to be held at Anaheim Convention Center, January 18 thru 21. Detailer is the first RND plug-in to be developed specifically by Roger Nichols and basically it is a stereo mastering plug-in but in fact Detailer offers a new way of increasing the perception of "detail" in the mid level of a final mix while still allowing increased loudness. The process involves a combination of three-band limiting and dynamic widening using psycho-acoustic processing.
Detailer will be available in RTAS, AU and VST formats for Mac OSX (UB) , pricing to be announced.

Alesis is shipping the IO|26 and IO|14 FireWire Audio/MIDI interfaces, which feature DICE II Jitter Elimination Technology (JET); Cirrus converters; high definition, transformerless mic preamps with NeutriK connectors; and compatibility with most DAW software. Both interfaces offer up to 24-bit, 192 kHz recording, as well as flexible, routable Hardware Direct Monitoring with the HDM Control panel software.
