Plug-ins : Roger Nichols Detailer - macmusicRoger Nichols Digital (RND) will unveil Detailer at Winter NAMM2007, to be held at Anaheim Convention Center, January 18 thru 21. Detailer is the first RND plug-in to be developed specifically by Roger Nichols and basically it is a stereo mastering plug-in but in fact Detailer offers a new way of increasing the perception of "detail" in the mid level of a final mix while still allowing increased loudness. The process involves a combination of three-band limiting and dynamic widening using psycho-acoustic processing.
Detailer will be available in RTAS, AU and VST formats for Mac OSX (UB) , pricing to be announced.
