PreSonus announces a pretty nice rebate : Presonus is offering a free FireBox ($499.95 value) FireWire Recording System with purchase of an M80 - eight channel microphone preamplifier or DigiMax96k - eight channel microphone preamplifier w/ ADAT and digital output.

PreSonus is offering this rebate from August 1, 2005 through October 31, 2005.

Wwaym announces NWMaxx, a new one-knob easy-to-use transparrent maximizer that works as bass booster, too. It features: Power knob, Common bass boost, 30 Hz cut, Input and Output gain control, Input and Output VU meters with peak display.

X-Spat Controller has been updated to version 1.6. This release adds Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger compatibility, new user interface design, new virtual MIDI port, new keyboard shortcuts, stereo groups option for all the parameters and more. X-Spat Controller is a freeware that provides full control via MIDI over the 202 real time parameters of any A&G X-Spat DSP Expansion product.

Avox Vocal Toolkit by Antares is an interesting new vocal processor. Antares has combined five vocal processing modules : THROAT Physical Modeling Vocal Designer, CHOIR Vocal Multiplier, PUNCH Vocal Impact Enhancer, DUO Vocal Modeling Auto-Doubler and SYBIL Variable Frequency De-Esser.

AVOX will be available in late August in RTAS, VST and Audio Units versions for $599,00.

Digidesign announces that the new Surround Panner option for ICON D-Control worksurface is now available. The Surround Panner brings powerful and convenient panning functionality to the centre section of the D-Control console. it includes an integrated 640x480 high-resolution colour LCD touchscreen, two touch-sensitive joysticks with associated Punch buttons, two touch-sensitive rotary encoders with 15-segment LED rings, six Mode buttons for each panner and more.
