Cakewalk announces the release of its new Dimension Pro v1.0 VST synthesizer. It combines real instruments with advanced synthesis, giving you endless sound possibilities. Dimension Pro offers an abundance of vital, usable sounds that range from pristine realistic acoustic instruments, thumping basses and cutting leads, to complex, evolving atmospheres. This wide tonal range can be attributed to both advanced sample mapping and a powerful sound-sculpting engine with analog sound generation that lets you mutate and recompose any sound you might imagine.

Esigned with the live sound engineer in mind, Drawmer TourBuss offers four dynamics plug-ins exclusive to Digidesign VENUE systems. The Drawmer TourBuss suite includes a Noise Gate, Compressor/Limiter, Expander, and Bracketing Filter, all of which retain the layout and emulate the sound of Drawmer's renowned DS201 Noise Gate and DL241 Auto-Compressor hardware units. Cwejman, manufacturer of the half-modular S1 analogue synth may well be, as the grapevine reports, preparing not a full modular system but some modules to add to your system in the near future. Given the sometimes unusual designs build into the S1 like the multimode filter with up to 6 poles, it'll be something to check once available.
