Herman Gillis, the belgian designer of the acclaimed Sherman Filterbanks 1 and 2, and the infamous Quadfilter is preparing a version 3 ready by the end of the year. This wako all analogue filter will be a a mix of 2 actual filterbanks. For more details, extra features, looks and price, you'll have to wait for some weeks still…

Cwejman, manufacturer of the half-modular S1 analogue synth may well be, as the grapevine reports, preparing not a full modular system but some modules to add to your system in the near future. Given the sometimes unusual designs build into the S1 like the multimode filter with up to 6 poles, it'll be something to check once available.

It's not a phone number, but the number of new Nuendo release. Version "3.2" offers a complex yet flexible new bus system that allows separate mixes to be created for headphones, control room and up to four studios. Nuendo 3.2 also offers even tighter integration and enhanced functionality with hardware control surfaces. All the Control Functions now available in Nuendo 3.2 are mirrored in hardware in the WK Audio ID Controller, a dedicated Nuendo control surface co-engineered by Steinberg. Nuendo 3.2 also enhances support for the Euphonix MC and System-5 MC control surfaces. The release also adds : better quality of Sample Rate Conversion, user definable metering fall back time, and more.
