Mac and Music News

Through Sunday October 2, 2005
Sep 4 - 11:29 AM, by clouvel Event > MacMusic
Event : A real mother fucker - macmusicOn this Sunday MacMusic invites you to discover, or rather to savour, a real gem. One of our members, Mr.T, and a well-known one because he is a regular forum visitor, made, on his own, a musical video of his music "A real mother fucker". As strong as Coppola and Spielberg put together, and unintentionally, Mr.T is some kind of living ad for Apple since he produces the absolute evidence that on your own with a Mac, you only need a (big) touch of talent to work wonders. So I invite you to go and watch this video in which lascivious dancers, obstinate drummer and wavy skeletons are skilfully mixed, and they're all serving Mr T.

And of course you could not imagine watching this sweet video without having a look at another real nugget : the making-of !

Virtual Instrument : Peti demo available - macmusicPeti is a unique VSTi, which uses hybrid FM synthesis technology to emulate the sounds of the Harmonium, a member of the Reed Organ family, also known as "pump organ". The Harmonium in its smaller form is widely used in north Indian music and, as derivation, in pop and rock music too for its full and sweet sound.

A demo version 1.0 VST is available in the MacMusic software section.
