Native Instruments announced NI Komplete Care, an all-inclusive update package for the powerful NI Komplete 2 bundle. The Komplete Care 2005 contains all Komplete 2 related major product updates that will be released in 2005. It only relates to major product updates. Minor updates and maintenance updates continue to be available free of charge to all registered NI customers.

NI Komplete Care 2005 will be available starting January 16th, 2005 for a retail price of $279.

LinPlug announces the release of SaxLab, a VST/AU-format wind instrument synthesizer. SaxLab contains a range of features including monophonic multi-sample playback with internal four-voice crossfade, real-time control of the instrument's brightness, stereo chorus and reverb effects, envelope, LFO and MIDI-controlled vibrato and tremolo, and much more.

SaxLab will be sold in stores from January 2005 and is immediately available for online purchase from the LinPlug website as $149.

The virtual synth Albino by LinPlug comes with a cutting-edge selection of presets designed by sound designer Rob Papen. LinPlug has updated it to v2.1.1 and fixes: crash when using heavy Digital Oscillator Pitch Modulation fixed, and gator Effect did not work in some Filter / Effects routings.
