Wave Arts has announced FinalPlug, a peak limiter/volume maximizer plug-in that combines several of the company's major products, TrackPlug, MasterVerb and WaveSurround Pro. Final Plug can be used on individual tracks or an entire mix, operating in mono to mono or stereo to stereo modes, with up to 192 kHz sampling rate. Version 2.0 of MHC's Space Synthesizer is now available as an AudioUnit plugin for Mac OS X (plus VST on Mac OS X). The AudioUnit version of 2.0 contains the same features as the VST version: 17 new waveforms, a new GUI, and 256 presets, including the old 128 presets and 128 new ones. Space Synth 2.0 is part of the Studio Setup plugin bundle which costs $89, and a 30 day trial version is available.
