SimpleChord, the popular chord dictionary program from Wonder Warp Software Group, has today been updated to version 2.1. The new version addresses a chord spelling issue, and brings several other small refinements and features.

Rogue Amoeba has today released Detour 1.5, featuring an entirely retooled user interface. The long-awaited update brings many changes, both visible and under-the hood, fixing many bugs and introducing a new tabbed look. Detour 1.5 also features a new Detour MenuExtra, allowing for quick and easy access to all of Detour's settings right from the menubar.
All users are encouraged to download this free update, and new users should download a demo of Detour and take it for a test drive. full version costs $12.

Myriad Software has announced a v7.0.1 update of Melody assistant and v 9.0.1 of Harmony assistant for both mac OS 9 and Mac OS X. These updates are only major bufixes (more than 12 bugs...) : crash in the "Instrument tuner" script, crash when trying a rhythm using the hammer while complete mixer was open, crash when music was looping in "Play selection range" mode, (mac os classic) horizontal scroll bar movement was inverted (!!!), and more...

The Nautilus Bundle has now been released and improved for OSX. It consists of three audio plug-ins for RTAS, HTDM, MAS, Audio Unit and VST. Improvements over the previous version include lots of extra automation features, support for surround formats and high samplerates. Nautilus bundle consists of RiverRun (a Granular Soundscape Synthesizer), PeriScope (animating spectroscope and graphic analyzer) and Deep Phase Nine (phaser).
