ApulSoft announced an update to version 1.34 for the vintage synth daHornet, in both Audio Units and VSTi formats, and this version is the first one for Mac OS X. DaHornet is the virtual simulation of a cult synth. It's a full fledged plugin with midi-learn, random patch generator and many presets.

Digidesign has posted an update to version 6.6r2 for its Pro Tools for Avid Mojo Video on Mac OS X with Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools|HD Accel. This update is a major bugfix version and is available as a free download.

No doubt, it is Christmas today ! Edirol has announced the availibility of a driver for its digital interface FireWire FA 101. I hear you think there's nothing really exciting or festive in that, now if I tell you it is a driver for..Mac OS 9, I imagine scenes of joy and debauchery! In a nutshell : ASIO 2.0, OMS, and Free MIDI for our Macs under OS 9 that deserve their little Christmas too!
