Digital Theater Systems announced the availability of two DTS pro audio software encoders. The Pro Series 6.1 Surround Encoder is a stand-alone software which provide only 96kHz multi-channel audio solution for video content on DVD-Audio and DVD-Video discs. The second one is DTS Pro Series Network Encoder, which is a networked solution for large post-production facilities based on the Apple's Xserve RAID storage system.

Ueberschall announces BPM120 Drum & Percussion module. This pack is a 2.4 GB Drum & Percussion Loop Library with different styles (rock, metal, funk, world, acoustic and electronic sounds).These loops were recorded at 120 BPM with the use of Prosoniq's MPEX2 timestretching to allow adjustments from 60 to 240 BPM.

BPM120 Drum & Percussion module is available for Mac OS X (VST 2.0, Audio Units, RTAS), Mac OS 9 (VST) and costs $199.95.

Audiorealism has updated Bass Line to v1.5.0.4. in order to fix a minor bugfix for 48kHz. BassLine is the recreation of the Bass Line Synthesizer. Analog modeling techniques have been employed to create a DSP-algorithm that accurately emulates every aspect of the original Bass Line.
