Event : Party in Paris - on Wednesday! - macmusicAlready 200 of us have confirmed we are coming to MacMusic's big 5-years birthday party. Its on Wednesday, from 8pm to 2am at Petit Marguery, 47 avenue Trudaine, Paris 09, France. The organisation of the party is being dealt with by the friendly team of the Zona Libre café.

Don't forget to put your badge on (bring a badge holder if possible) so we can match the faces with the nicknames we're familiar with in the forums.

Plug-ins : Something new from UA - macmusicThose who just bought a new UAD-1 will be glad to know that Universal Audio just released a new version. Named UAD-8 I/O it gives : ADAT interface, 44.1 to 192 kHz (mmhm wonder why ;) They also announced a future TDM version of their plugs

Rumor : Processors for future Macs - macmusicAccording to a Reuters article, IBM will produce soon a new 64 bit processor (32 compatible) which will use Altivec. Frequency range begins at 1.8 GHz. PPC970 (its nickname) could be used in future Macs, which should be some "boost" to the actuel range.
