"Hello,
We have seen some issues with Midi controllers in 6.0. These issues have been addressed in 6.01 which is due out in a week or so. We have also seen some issues with recalling patch assignments. We are currently looking into the problem".

Digidesign announces plans to demonstrate a new version of Pro Tools with DigiTranslator 2.0 that supports the Advanced Authoring Format (AAF) for program interchange at the NAB show in Las Vegas April 7-10, 2003, in the Avid Technology, Inc. booth #SL300. After showing a working version of Pro Tools with AAF support at NAB, Digidesign plans to make it available to Pro Tools customers as part of the DigiTranslator 2.0 option, inside a Pro Tools release scheduled for this summer.
The Advanced Authoring Format (AAF) is a media interchange file format that enables content creators to easily exchange sequence information, digital media and metadata across platforms, and between systems and applications. AAF simplifies project management, saves time, and preserves valuable metadata that was typically lost when transferring program material between applications in the past.

Macfixit announces that they have found the way to boot the new Macs
on OS 9 : Apple provides its technicians with a CD called "MacTest Pro for Power Mac G4 version 7.8.1 supports all iMac (flat pannel) 15 inch systems only" which allows to boot on Mac OS 9 thanks to a new version of the Mac OS ROM extension.
At this time, the tests have been only made on new iMac and the "miraculous CD" is strictly reserved to Apple detailers/technicians.
So why not for all the new Macs... one day...
