Dec 9 - 03:50 PM | Virtual Instrument > Steinberg |
Using a combination of analog-style, spectral, and wave impulse synthesis, Steinberg's D'cota VST instrument is designed to offer a world of new and different sounds.
D'cota provides four ADSR envelopes and two freely synchronizable LFOs for each of the three synthesis forms. Eight different types of filters and two waveform generators feed two independent spectrum stages with user-definable curves. The integrated Morph function allows easy fading between the two spectra in real-time. You may also enjoy its delays, distortion units, modulators and three oscillators featuring more than 60 waveforms for frequency, pulse width and ring modulation.

Clavia announced:
Despite earlier information, Clavia has today decided to stop the work of the software upgrade for the Nord Modular system. Instead, Clavia will focus its development resources on new projects.
As a result, Clavia can promise new and exciting product releases during 2003. Stay tuned!
The developement ceased for all supported platforms.
Sad sad news, we won't be able to run safely the editor under X save Clavia makes a quick fix… :-/ And this way to continue to tweak our little red monsters.
On the Modular List, the mailing list of NM users, some expressed the urge to write to Clavia:
support@clavia.se
and on CC info@clavia.se
You too, tell them politely that you'd like to see the V3.03 editor at least on OSX or you'll be really disapointed by the attitude of their company.
A NM without editor is useless junk!
