Digidesign ships DV Toolkit for Pro Tools LE, this bundle adds desktop post production functionality to Pro Tools LE 6.1 software. DV Toolkit is an optional software bundle that adds desktop post production functionality to Pro Tools LE systems (version 6.1 or newer). Specialised functionality gives users tools to edit audio with frame accuracy, support for the import and export of AAF and OMF media files with applications such as Avid Xpress DV, using bundled plug-ins, the ability to replace bad on-camera dialogue and repair/restore poor field audio.

Rogue Amoeba Software has updates for three different pieces of software.
- Detour updated to version 1.0.1 : provides Japanese localization, fixed a bug that could cause iChat AV and other similar apps to crash when using Detour. Detour 1.0.1 for OS X 10.2 and up is immediately available for download and purchase.
- SoundSource updated to version 1.0.1: respects devices that announce themselves as not being capable of being the default system device (such as Apple's iSight), fixes a bug where the menu became null. SoundSource 1.01 is immediately available for free download.
- Audio Hijack Pro, the comprehensive audio recording and enhancing application updated to version 1.2.4 : alerts closer closes alerts after 5 minutes to prevent blocking, new 1.0.4 version of Audio Hijack Ser ...

Sendstation Systems announced the PocketDock, an indispensable companion for Apple's new iPod MP3 player. The PocketDock is smaller than a box of matches and allows a standard 6-pin FireWire cable to connect to the iPod's proprietary docking port, giving the user freedom and independence.
