Here you are ! We have been waiting and we were looking forward to it for long. Without it, the site woudn't have survived. Fortunately with the support of the active members, nightmare is over. The NEW server is operational. You'ARE currently workin' on... Unbelievable ! isn'it ?
What's new ? That server is really faster (x5) and provide a larger memory (x2). Traffic will be moving freely again despite of the number of members connected at the same time. And the rythm of pages display will be faster. MacMusic will be definitely more confortable.
That "Super Server" will stand for our increasing traffic for two more years. So don't hesitate to support the site to ensure Future MacMusic. Become active members and renew your contribution. We h ...

Any host software that supports Audio Units - such as Logic 5.5 or higher - can make use of the Guitar Tuner. Steve Jobs started the long awaited World Wide Developer Conference with a Keynote. He showed:
- Panther, the next OSX (10.3). Panther will cost $129 and will be available before year's end.
- iSight, a new firewire webCam at $149
- a few iApps update (iChat brings Video, Mail is enhanced, etc...).
- the G5: The rumors was true! The new macs feature 64 bit processors up to 2GHz, 1GHz front-side bus, 400 MHz 128-bit DDR memory, AGP 8X Pro Graphics, 133 MHz PCI-X slots, Serial ATA, connects to HyperTransport interconnect. memory up to 8GB (!!!), an all aluminum enclosure (twice quieter than previous G4), GeFore FX5200 Ultra in the low-end, SuperDrive in all.
