Good news for all Digi 001, Audiomedia III, and Mbox users: according to one of the DUC's (Digidesign User Conference) moderators, Pro Tools LE for Mac should be running 32 tracks before the end of the month. (Thanks Mr. T)

Available in late august 2002, Tera is a modular software synth that combines Virtual analog synthesis, FM, waveshaping, physical modeling and Spectrum synthesis (?)...
A beta demo version can be downloaded. Every knob is not yet implemented but the 800 included presets should help you to have an idea about the beast.
No save, and the sound's output mutes every 20 seconds (it's a demo).
Tip : to assign a MIDI input to the synth, check the MIX page of the synth!…

To coincide with the forthcoming DigiWorld and summer NAMM show, IK Multimedia is pleased to announce that SampleTank RTAS plug-in for Digidesign Pro Tools systems will be shipping in July. You can allready download a demo version from their site.

Destroy FX developers Tom 7 and Marc strike again with the release of a new plug-in called Scrubby and new versions of the whole collection, featuring better Logic support, "midilearn" feature for assignment of one MIDI controler per button, and improved performance and sonic quality…
