Wave Arts announces an upgrade release to MasterVerb, its reverb plug-in.
On the heels of their cross-platform release of TrackPlug, Wave Arts is following with an upgrade to MasterVerb, serving up several significant improvements to its reverb plug-in, the most anticipated of which is a Mac VST release.

From 10 to 14 september, Apple makes its show in Paris: Apple Expo. This year, MacMusic won't have a booth, but the team will do its best to report all new products and software introduced during the show. The first version of Logic Platinum for OS X is coming out. It will allow the users to use a single software package combining digital audio recording and editing, digital signal processing, software instruments, MIDI sequencing and music notation, on a next generation operating system.

OS X also contains the foundation for a new generation of potent music and audio applications. Many technologies necessary for such applications are already built-in, such as the "CoreMIDI", "CoreAudio", "Audio Units" standards, as well as support for high-resolution audio including 32 Bit floating-point data.
