New ibook are now on available with improvements of the processor's speeds (800 and 900 MHz Power PC G3 processors) and a bigger HD (30 GB for the cd-rom 12', 40 GB for the 12' and the DVD-ROM/CD-RW 14'). Entry level ibook now ship with a 7500/32MB Radeon graphics card. Combo DVD/burner drives have also been updated to 24x10x24x

Sage Electronics is releasing the SE-Pre 1. A discrete Class A transistor preamp with phantom power and +26dB of output. It can drive anything you can plug behind from vintage gear to modern DAW. Components are hand selected and hand assembled, tested and signed by the builder.

The SE-Pre 1 has not only an exotic wood (preserve rain forests please!) front panel, but is available in modules of 1,2,4 or 8 preamp to suit needs and racks.

The power supply is external (rack format) and can power 16 SE-Pre 1.
