Steve Jobs will open Apple Expo 2002 Paris, France on 10 September at 10am at the Palais des Congrès.
If you can get to Paris for Apple Expo, its in Hall 4 at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versaille from 10 to 14 September.

MOTU unveiled the 2408mk3, a single rack-space 96 kHz audio interface for Macintosh and Windows personal computers. This new expandable PCI card-based audio workstation represents a major upgrade to MOTU's 2408mkII interface, which the mk3 will replace at the same price ($995 for a core system, $695 for expansion I/Os). New features include 96 kHz analog and digital I/O, expansion up to 96 channels, DSP-driven mixing and monitoring, legacy I/O support, on-board SMPTE and video synchronization and software-switchable analog input levels.

Mackie Designs has released an OS upgrade for the company's HDR24/96 and MDR24/96 hard disk recorders that implements industry-standard Broadcast Wave as the native recording format on both units and enables compatibility with the recently announced OPT24 and Serial9 accessory cards.
